My Little Bossings: A Must-See for Families in 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival

Filipino families would always anticipate December 25. No, it's not only because it is Christmas Day but also because it is the opening day of the much awaited Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). With different movie genres to choose from, watching MMFF movies has been sort of a family tradition for most Filipino families. And all these years, a Vic Sotto starrer is always something to look forward to. Why is that so? Well, more than his name being an institution in the industry and his brand of comedy--it's definitely his movies' moral values that makes his films worth watching. For 2013, Vic Sotto's entry is entitled My Little Bossings--with which he takes on the lead actor alongside child wonders: Little Miss Philippines and Eat Bulaga mainstay Ryzza Mae Dizon and Kris Aquino's son Bimby.

I am really excited on this film. For a change, we do away with magic spells this time and Enteng Kabisote (his much loved magical film of all time) had to take a leave this year because we're offering a heartwarming comedy for the whole family," says Vic Sotto during the My Little Bossings Bloggers' Night.

"We've always wanted to get Bimby for my films. And I'm so happy when Kris had finally agreed to do My Little Bossings. From as early as last year, we had already conceptualized this film with Ryzza Mae Dizon and Aiza Seguerra. I've started in this industry a long tim ago but I'd like to believe this is the best film I've done so far," Vic said.

"I am happy that I'm now one of the lead (actors)," says Ryzza in Filipino. "Before my name wasn't even that visible on the movie poster, even my picture was like the ones seen on IDs--but now, I could see my name on the header and had my picture with Bossing Vic upclose," enthuses Ryzza.

On working with kids like Bimby and Ryzza, Vic says that he never let the two kids work without some amount of play. "I've learned this over the years I've worked with Aiza Seguerra as a childstar. Now, I manage to make time for both so that work would not feel like such," explains Vic,

My Little Bossings is a feel-good family entertainment for all ages. My Little Bossings will be opening on December 25, 2013 at theaters near you. Don't fail to miss it! There'll be lots of fun, surprises and lessons that all families will be able to relate to.
