REEDLEY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL: AN ANTI-BULLYING SCHOOL WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS

Finding the right school for our children may be crucial for most parents. Right after pre-school comes the quest for the so-called ‘big school’, and of course, as parents, we do not want to alienate our kids when they finally go to those big schools. Big school is truly significant as it is where the foundation of our children will be based upon. And with the rampant bullying that we have been hearing even from elite exclusive schools, we need to ensure of our kids’ safety all from all these stuff since we can’t be with them all the time. That’s why I’m so glad to have been recently invited to the Reedley International School’s talk on Anti-Bullying.

I’d have to say that Reedley International School is not your typical school. Unlike ordinary private schools, they have small class sizes yet with international standards.  But what probably sets them apart is that Reedley gives a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for learning. More so, Reedley International School has adopted the Life Skills curriculum and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens as well as Happy Kids by Sean Covey. They focus on empowering their students to manage healthy family and peer relationships with less stress.

I’ve heard so much about Reedley International School before I even had the chance to visit the school myself. And in doing so, I no longer wonder why it had been receiving such positive remarks from friends. Apart from their happy students (small class size + no bullying zone campaign), they also have innovative classroom management and discipline methods and with grading system based on academic research by international education specialists.  Reedley also offer academic consultation, customized action plans to address each child’s developmental needs, parent chats, intensive guidance counseling and review for college entrance exams.

For parents who are still searching for an excellent school for their kids, I highly recommend Reedley International School. It isn’t as expensive as an elite exclusive school and it nurtures each student and maximizes his or her potentials and best of all, you can be assured that your kids are perfectly safe in such healthy and happy environment that only Reedley International School can offer.

NICKELODEON SUMMER FESTIVAL: FUN UNDER THE SUMMER SUN

Despite the fickle weather condition last May 4, 2013, Nickelodeon had just wrapped up summer with another fun and memorable event with the Nickelodeon Summer Festival held at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. Kids, tweens and kids at heart all trooped to the said venue without minding the heat of the summer sun.

The Bonifacio Global City grounds on the 9th Street corner 30th was transformed into a Mardi Gras themed party where Buganda Drumbeaters officially opened the program while the SandugoColorguards also graced the said program. Of course, like any typical Nickster event, numerous booth and onstage games will always be a part of the occasion. There have been fun booths for kids to play with, even a signature slime shower for kids to fully enjoy being a true green slimed Nickster.  Moms and kids were also delighted to know that Toy Kingdom, one of the sponsors, also gave guests a chance to avail of the special discounts, the other booths also offered loads of freebies!

The Nickelodeon Summer Festival had been enjoyed by kids of all ages. Each game is tailored-fit for a child’s age so everyone surely had a grand time. The winners received awesome prizes while everyone else got consolation prizes as well, so there’s really no loser. But the envy of all was probably the two kids who won from the Air Asia Trip Around the World game; each child won a family of four roundtrip tickets from Clark to Kalibo and Clark to Davao respectively! Such a fun way to end their summer vacation!

Best of all, beloved Nickelodeon friends and characters also graced the show, the likes of Proppy from Propan TLC, Paddlepop and Lioness from Selecta Paddlepop, Ace from Air Asia, Nickelodeon Characters Dora and her cousin Diego, and of course, SpongebobSquarepants and his friend Patrick Star.
