ANNA KARENINA REMAKE AIRS ON GMA AFTER 24 ORAS

AnnaKareNina stars Krystal Reyes, Barbie Forteza and Joyce Ching

 The favorite weekend afternoon drama of the 90’s, AnnaKareNina is back on GMA 7. For those not familiar with its plot, AnnaKareNina is about an old wealthy matriarch search for her long lost granddaughter named AnnaKareNinaMonteclaro. The old lady put a hefty million pesos as a reward to those who can give whereabouts of her granddaughter and be able to prove that she is indeed the ‘one’ that she had been looking for.

The original AnnaKareNinateledrama catapulted the former teen stars AnntoinetteTaus (Anna), Sunshine Dizon (Karen) and Kim delos Santos (Nina) to the stardom. Likewise, GMA 7’s resurrection of the said teledrama is expected to become a hit and take notice of the fastest rising young stars of today: the new version of AnnaKareNina stars formidable teen stars Krystal Reyes (Anna), Barbie Forteza (Karen) and Joyce Ching (Nina).

 The three lead stars are supported by a powerhouse cast of Sandy Andolong, Yul Servo, Ana Roces, Maureen Larazabal, Juan Rodrigo, Derrick Monasterio, Julian Trono, Hiro Peralta, Valerie Concepcion, MaybelynDela Cruz, Alicia Meyer and Kathleen Hermosa, with the special cameo role of YasmienKurdi as the mother of AnnaKareNina.

The three AnnaKareNina stars recently made the kids from the Children’s Hour happy with their special appearance at the recent Mind Museum tour of the kids. They gave words of wisdom and inspiration and invited the kids to watch their latest teledrama.
